Mickie’s Locked Inn Coaster
One of the coasters is smaller than the other. Have you tried placing it on top of the bigger one?
The position of the dartboard coaster is important - did you notice a 19 and a 1 on the safe lock on the smaller coaster?
Did you notice the phrase "eleven ticks clockwise, eight counter" on the smaller coaster? Could you try turning the smaller coaster as if it's a safe lock?
Starting with the dartboard coaster positioned with the 19 at the top, as indicated on the lock logo, follow the instructions "eleven ticks clockwise, eight counter" and spin the smaller coaster as if it were a lock mechanism. eleven ticks clockwise points the arrow at 4, and 8 counter from there points to 8, so the answer is 48.
After Hours Event Flyer and Drink Token
There are some little boxes with blue borders on the flyer which also appear on the back of the drinks token...
If you follow the flight path of the falling darts through the maze on the back of the drinks token, where do you end up?
The dartboard at the bottom of the flyer looks pretty empty. Maybe some letters from the top dartboard could go in there?
If you line up the back of the drinks token with the lines on the flyer correctly, indicated by the small boxes with blue borders which appear on both pieces, you can follow the letters in 'AFTER-HOURS EVENT' to an empty space on the dartboard below. The letters eventually spell out SEVEN-FOUR, or 7 minus 4, which gives you 3.
Chase’s Dart Flight Advert
Have you noticed the pattern and the border on the back of the flyer?
The dart flights on the front of the flyer have the same pattern and border as the back...
It looks like you could fold the flyer into the shape of a dart flight!
Maybe the borders can tell you where to look...
Once the flyer is folded into the shape of a dart flight, you can check which angle to look at it from by matching up the pattern on the borders. The flights on the front of the flyer show you the correct patterns to find the 2 numbers. The first dart leads you to 2, and the second to 5, which gives you 25.
Lenny’s Rate Card
Have you visited the website on Lenny's ratecard?
The handwritten note on the back of the rate card could tell you what to look for.
Which words come after each sigh in the audio clip?
If you add up the likes and impressions figures, like the audio suggests, what number do you get?
If you go to the website written on the ratecard, you will get an audio clip to listen to. The handwritten note indicated that whatever comes after a 'youtuber sigh' is worth paying attention to - the words that come after each sigh are "Look At The Rate Card Likes Plus Impressions". If you look for those figures, you get 7.6 and 45.4. Add them together, and you get 53.
Duel of the Darts Poster
The Match Draw tells you a lot about where to start.
Drawing lines to connect the players could reveal something.
Try connecting the players who are playing each other in the Match Draw.
If you draw lines connecting the pairs of players who are set to play each other in the match draw, you will end up with a big number 15.
On the Oche Zine
Making predictions about the Bulls and Arrows Tournament will take you in the right direction.
The article talks about players' positions on the leaderboard from last year. What does it say about where they might be this year? Use the table to write your predictions.
If you start with Barnes' position, that might help all the others fall into place.
The article "Bulls and Arrows is Back Baby" gives clues about which order to write the players names into the predictions grid. The correct order is, 1. Barnes 2. Malone 3. Vicks 4. Walker 5. Drammond 6. Knox. Once they are in the right order, the greyed out squares in the grid spell out "SEVEN O", or 70.
Leo Fields Darts Packaging
First, assemble the box. The darts on the back of the box each look a bit different, take note of details like the colour, the shapes on the flights and the lines on the barrels.
Take a closer look at the groups of shapes on the repeating pattern on the front of the box.
Is there a link between the features of the darts and the groups of shapes in the pattern? Which numbers do they lead to?
The three darts on the back of the packaging have distinctive features. They each have repeating shapes on the flights, a different colour, and different numbers of lines on the barrels. These tell you which characteristics to look for in the groups of shapes pattern on the front of the box. When the box is assembled and the front pattern lines up with the inside patterns, you can see that the groups that contain the corresponding colour, pattern and number of lines give you the correct answer, which is 039.
Pat Flint’s Business Card
If you go on Pat Flint's website, you'll notice his logo is actually quite colourful.
The circles on the back of his business card match the colours of the logo on his website. Could they be pointing to something?
Each of the darts in his logo points in a specific direction. Try drawing some lines, using the darts and the coloured circles to guide you.
The business card contains a website and a QR code, which both take you to Pat Flint's website. His logo consists of 4 darts, facing different directions in different colours. On the business card, there are a number of colourful circles which correspond with the colours on Pat's logo on his website. Using the darts as directions, you can draw 2 numbers if you follow the order, which are 9 and 2.
Gift Card for Terry
The logos on the back have something in common with the big logo on the front.
Try matching up where on each logo the segments could fit.
What would it spell out, if the big logo on the front had the correct letters in each segment?
On the front of the business card, there's a logo which is mashed up from the six logos on the back. If you look at where the segment of each logo would line up on the full logo, it will tell you which letters are there. This spells out SEVENTY MINUS THREE which gives you 67.
