Clues

The Disappearance

Seismic Survey Pamphlet

Take a look at the instructions on how Air Guns and sensors work.

Make sure you're clear on where the seabed is.

Now you know how Air Guns and sensors work, can you use what you've learned?

The sensors are numbered, the first Air Gun would hit number 1 and the second would hit number 7 therefore the answer is 17.

Seismic Data Readings

Those lines must mean something.

What could the 'a' and 'b' mean?

Fold along the green lines for the first number and the red line for the second number. When folded correctly, the paper should create the numbers 8 and 4. The answer is 84.

Hydrophone Recordings

Take a look at what's behind the QR code.

No animal noise knowledge is required to complete the analysis.

The recordings must have come from the hydrophone recordings.

The Supplementary Evidence should be able to provide some insight on the answer...

The animals in the Supplementary Evidence recordings are animals 6 and 1. The answer is 61.

Arctic Map

The note on the back shows that the RED readings are significant.

The letters on the outside of the circle have to mean something.

Each yellow circle has been numbered, what could this mean?

Each red arrow points to intersecting lines which correlate to a number and a letter so 1 - T, 2 - W, 3 - E etc. The answer is TWELVE.

Temperature Map

There are two pieces to this puzzle, the Arctic Temperature Monitoring report and the Arctic Temperature Research piece with holes in it.

Look at how to interpret the map.

What could be the solution?

You must place the small piece over the heatmap so you can see the triangle symbol and F in the first two holes, you will then see the first solution icon in the third whole and the number 14 in the final hole. If you do this for the 3 icons you will get 14 + sixty. The answer is 74.

Migration Patterns

Have all the migration patterns been noted?

Consider the orientation...

Once each migration pattern is added to each animal at the correct rotation, it will show the number 43. The answer is 43.

Northern Lights

Strange title of the photograph, maybe something else might have shifted...

Those colours look important!

If a yellow H = T, then I wonder what a blue C equals.

Each colour has its own code. When using the correct cipher for each colour, the sentence above the photo spells out: the number you are looking for is twenty nine. The answer is 29.

Michael Eversleighs Note

Sounds like Mike really wants Ada to email him.

Better try and figure that Safe Word out so he knows he can trust you. Help is at every beginning.

If the code is hidden in plain sight, you must be able to spell it out from the note.

The safe word is hidden in plain sight... If you take the first letter of every sentence you will spell, SAFE WORD IS TORCH. Once you've emailed Mike's personal email, mike@everysleighs.com with the safe word included in the subject line, he'll reply with the answer. The answer is 87.

Adoption Certificate

Those key dates look important!

Those paw prints must mean something...

Get the WORD out about those dates...

If you take the 7th, 9th, 10th and 14th word from the corresponding paw print you get 'the number of narwhals' - count the number of Narwhals on the front of the certificate. The answer is 12.
